The Structure of Tarot
Major Arcana
The 22 Major Arcana cards represent life's karmic and spiritual lessons. These cards carry powerful messages about major life events and spiritual evolution, from The Fool (card 0) to The World (card 21).
Minor Arcana
The 56 Minor Arcana cards reflect everyday trials and tribulations that are temporary or have less significant influence. They are divided into four suits: Cups (emotions), Pentacles (material matters), Swords (intellect), and Wands (energy and passion).
